I even did 5.

camping and nade spamming doesn't count here, nor does awping or any kind of sniping, he's talking about 1 vs 5 based on pure skill. (Note it takes an average of at least 8 shots to kill a person with an assault rifle, if you can kill 4 people and still retain at least 1 HP, you must have really good aim and know how to dodge 4 streams of bullets while at the same time play so conservatively that these occurrences only happen if you're under good cover. Note: Expect to run out of bullets.

Also please read the rules and never post about your in game scores, you've done this previously and have been warned accordingly, please keep this forum clean.

I like to play in a team, and I always try to be a good team. But sometimes it's just so annoying how your team sucks and only consists of newbies that don't rush with you, or help you, or camp with you (no that kind of camping that you think). I remember a time when I had 2 teammates with high HP and 2 enemies with low or middle HP, it was an advantage for us and rushing now would kill them for sure, so I said ''Storm the front!'' and I rushed and I thought my team would rush with me and kill them but no, they just stood there waiting for the enemy to come to them and I killed 1 enemy and the other one killed me. It's sometimes so annoying how much of a newbie team you have.

Well ya, I wasn't camping in the pic. I was being AFK grabbing something to eat, when I saw some enemies making their way to me so I blew them up. And I didn't knew it was against the forum rules, I wasn't even showing my score. I was just trying to prove a point, you can just tell 5 people to stand still and kill them. Is that pure skill? probably not, but it's easy to kill.

Anyway I'll stop posting these pictures since you said it now.

exactly, you're talking about killing 5 people randomly, he's talking about killing 5 people shooting at you with only your gun and no support.

Alright.

That happens me quite alot actually. It happens me when the teams aren't even. Anyone know the command to balance teams? if there isn't one there should be one!

I need that command, anyone know it?

The only way to get that command is by hosting a dedicated server.

Seriously?

Dedicated servers are just black... for admins, you can't play on it yourself. So why are they there for? higher ping?

Both dedicated and normal servers should be handled with care and have pretty much same commands otherwise how can I even the teams?

Stay away from high pinged servers, that's my tip.

Your very wrong.. Right at the spot..

Dedicated servers have TONS of more commands that normal servers do not have. An example would be restricting weapons of your choice, automatic teambalance, slot reservation, modded weapon's characteristics of your choice, and much more.

Dedicated servers are mostly there because they stay online everyday and people can join and play in it whenever they want. Also they are there because of the more commands and the good ping.     Some people cant make their server visible to others for some reason, so there's another reason to make/join a dedicated server.

Ok though, I still think dedicated is bad. Because if I leave the server it doesn't run anymore. And I can't join it myself, so I'd make my own server instead because at least I can play on it.

And I have no idea why dedicated servers have more commands than a regular server. I've run a dedicated server, I have to say it was the most boring thing I ever done in CS2D. All I see is players joining and all I could do was using the command "sv_msg" because I don't know all commands like most of you do.

I'd rather create a regular server.
There should be a tutorial on how to run a dedicated server because I don't know anything about dedicated servers except of the things I just wrote.

Does dedicated servers have lower ping than regular servers? or does it depend on connection or what?

I played on |jUSTiN|'s dedicated and it was in red status, while the other servers were in orange status, I wonder why.

KimKat: No, the whole purpose of the Dedicated server is not for you to host it on your computer but to buy a remote server and be able to host a persistent none-stop server. Also, you are getting the word dedicated server mixed up. We are referring to the dedicated server that can be found at: cs2dg.rox.pl, not the CS2Db0.1.0.4 Dedicated Servers. If you have been playing at all for the past year and half you would have at least noted special servers such as DM servers and GunGame servers or servers where people can be teleported and slapped and such.

I haven't played for quite a while actually. I started playing CS2D again somewhere within this month. Dedicated servers sure sounds cool, even though the ones CS2D host is kinda bad. I've seen some special servers but I don't know anything about the slaps and teleports, but I have seen Laser DM on de_dust.

Is it possible for me to make a server like that?
If so, where can I download these dedicated plugins...

I run CS2D fine with Windows XP.
The lower FPS (Frames Per Second) you've got the more you will lag and there is also a theory that you will shoot slower thus players with higher FPS have an advantage over you. My FPS is 49 and thats like the highest in the game, I've seen nobody with a FPS higher then that.

Here's a tip, play a quick bot game and open the console and type in "net_graph" and look at the bottom right, you will this black thing with your FPS displayed, if your FPS is lower then 49 then try to turn off VSync in the options menu, somehow it increases my FPS, because if I turn on VSync, my FPS goes down to 30 or so.

My Fps is 50

Aug | SG552 -- overpowered (I sometimes have to refrain form using them in order to avoid getting vote-kicked)

M249 | P90 -- used for suppressive fire

m4a1 | AK47 -- lame

Glock -- ownage in close quarters combat, the burst mode is also useful when you're not sure of your enemy's position - used as a last resort

TMP | Mac10 -- destructive in close quarter combat (requires a lot of aiming skill though), but completely useless in ranged combat (yes, you cannot spray with it)

G3SG1 -- nemesis while in skilled hands

SG550 -- the younger, gay brother of G3SG1, kids, never waste money on it - but a G3 instead

AWP | Scout -- the gun's length is meant to compensate a certain thing the player lacks
