Hello, how can i make a door with that uhm click thing i walk and presss e then something open whats that name ??? idk how to make door open and close :S plz help 1.Try making your questions more understandable.
2.You have to make a Trigger_use entity in somewhere, and trigger the door with it, i guess you will understand how to when you know these
3.Search around the forum before you facken post. Haris8 COMMUNITY BANNED Offline
omg what what trigger? the name of tiles? like 12? DC Admin Offline
use two trigger_use and one func_dynwall as door. enter for example "door" in the name-field of func_dynwall and enter "door" in the trigger-field of both trigger_use. place all three entities adjacent in a row and put the func_dynwall in the middle. and ps, the name of a tile is not 12, exeptions is if you write it in the name, but i think you mean id 12...it has a big difference between those two... its works exactly the same like trigger_use. just replace the trigger_use in the text I wrote before with trigger_move. than the "door" will open on movement. Haris8 COMMUNITY BANNED Offline

open cs_lightswitch in the editor. you can archieve something like this with sprite entities. on lightswitch there are sprites which make the environment darker but you could also use light-sprites which make it bright I've managed to create a time countdown using the triggers, it's awesome. It's based of show/hide just like the cs_lightswitch map it triggers sprites. The map I'm making is called "dom_cyberspace" I'll release it someday. Some random people already has it.
But yea as DC said.
To create a proper door, you need two Trigger_use both must have the same trigger value, and you can put them on each side of the Func_DynWall which you're probably about to add. Create one or more Func_DynWall entities with the exactly the same name of the trigger value of the Trigger_use. Be sure to align the buttons on the Trigger_use to fit, alternatively there is a method to display the buttons using the Env_sprite entity. Make your own custom buttons, and load the image in the Env_sprite.
I always name my entities, just to organize them well. I don't want to mess up the map.
Anyway follow my advice and you'll have your map triggers working, hopefully. I'm not good at explaining things like this, but I hope some will understand.
