Every single time, until now, the online games that CS2D found had green latency bars (in latency order). Now though, when I go online to look for a game, I can't find a single game with a green latency bar. All of the games have either yellow, orange or red. The game list also loads very slow. What's going on?
A lot of servers lately, could be lagging for the USGN serverlist. Your not alone.
It should have stopped by now though...
What your looking at is NOT what the actual ping is.
However, I think it stopped as I said already.
There were like...150-160 servers today earlier.
bad pings on all servers can only have 3 different reasons:
your own connection is slow or busy. stop programs which are using the internet. pause all up- and downloads! a huge amount of people opening the serverlist at the same time ppl who attack the usgn + all servers by sending loads of trash messages (DoS attack)

Normally Pings don't kill your FPS, because FPS are your computers speed only... ping depends nearly only on internet speed. So they don't depend so much on each other (but if fps are REALLY low, then ping can get very high, yes) if you only see yellow, orange and red, then go for the yellow, always play in the server whit less latency, and never play on red latency, it kills YOUR fps counter, and also lags the PPL THAT ARE in that server, its bad for you and for the other players
The server -[TA]- Construction (build houses) does that...
