better this then giving up on the community and creating an elitist class of modders. At least in my opinion anyways since it's a pretty prevalent pattern here that the voice of the players often gets ignored, so why not let them take control.

Aw, this means that none will connect to my server, because its not scripted. I would like to learn Lua, but I just can't actually learn from something that is written on English... maybe I will find something in my country. Even if I found something, that sure wont be for CS2D

No, it's not bad that your server has nothing with lua. I sometimes just want to play a normal round without anything modded. For such things, your servers then would be just greate!

Well, I don't want to be pessimist, but that is going to be "sometimes". Maybe I don't even need to make servers at all, although I never quit when I couldn't make it and now, when I finally got it, I'm not sure about making server. Maybe someone would want to play. I just have to remember the good times, when I had around max of 15 ppl in server. If someone wants to play a round with no scripts, my server is fully open.

Sorry still, I do not speak German, but I will write a tutorial on all of the different methods of CS2D and how to bootstrap them all in the most efficient manners.

Great tutorial, I'm relly excited about the new release of CS2D 0.1.1.4. I downloaded Lua but I have a problem maybe you can help me with, I extracted the version 5.1.4 but the install file is just a FILE. How do I actually install Lua?

Thanks, Lint

you don't need to install lua... why do you want to install it? it's implemented in cs2d. Just use an editor of your choice, write the lua script and save it as *.lua

if u want to use a .lua file then u just open server.lua and paste dofile("sys/lua/filename.lua") into it and it will open each .lua file which is named there

Hello, I have been having some trouble with Lua scripts. I'm really confused on how to use them or 'activate' them... I also don't really understand how to add them to my server. If you could help it would be much helpful.
