A suggestion for research system
how about we take an item and research on it to get research points
when we got enough research points we would be able to buy stuff with them
like blueprints which on reading will unlock stuff
different items would yield different points depending on rarity
like an iron piece would give more points than a stone piece
the items and research point system will be difficult to code(or atleast for me)
but the buying system can just be a trading screen with the table

yeah. i thought about that.
but... (theres always a but :P) the complex system already implemented in different place s in the game,would be difficult to replace... but if i would've doing it from the start,i could manage to make it.
P.S.Vectar,Thanx for the sledge hammer idea.
it is like this.. on impact,it makes everything have fracture (i mean,every animal) and make particles come out of it (like in cartoons->the info is "Nice! the hammer from the cartoons which makes people see stars!" :P)
yeah. and it is scaled big. about three times a normal hammer.

EDIT: People,why on earth are you voting "misc" if you dont tell me why? you want me to forge ideas from thin air...

And don't researches really need some money? I mean, you can just do all of the researches! Maybe you must build smth to unlock research or like train transport monkey, research need some items?

1.What's the hell "smth"?
2.i got the item thing... maybe ill add it in the next version. (let me think about it.)

Since you had about the same idea, i will say both.
EDIT:added the laser. it works like:
1.build the gun,and some batteries (of course,research first.)
2. go to a charger (buildable) and charge the batteries
3.the batteries are now full. go deplete them!
EDIT2: Returned from the holidays. well,added now (no new version yet,just to keep you informed)
a new model for both land and sea build sites.
land-looks like a realistic building site (planks,boards whatsoever) and the water is almost like the same,but a plank in the bottom,which assures the build can be made in it. (in real life, you wont just put those inflatables and vines and build. -_-)

You made a research menu (attached to the research table) to research planting building and etc did you not?

And as for the random map... you usually have random maps such as, random easy, random medium, random hard, random raptor etc... randomly generated maps... but in the download I got there were none of those things...

Got it. i thought you had another idea for the research system,and to say: i removed random islands. ill may consider putting them again,but the chance is like • to 1000.

EDIT (IMPORTANT):a new version is released! this one includes the trader (although not complete yet),the katana,and others which are written in the changelog.
ill post the link after dinner.. it still uploads.
