it's completely different to CS2D. in CS2D you can join always and you can have more players. it's very useful to have a dedicated server there.
in CC you have a lobby. each game takes a certain time and the maximum amount of individual internet players is 8 only. this works fine with a common connection and doesn't require a dedicated server.
that's why most games of this type do not have and do not need a dedicated server.
the only reason to develop a dedicated server would be that some people are either too stupid or too lazy to setup their routers/firewalls. so much work just because some people are unable to read manuals? no, I guess not

Hold on, this game has just started so you shouldn't expect a big serverlist right away.. it's kind of obvious, cs2d had the same start aswell.
