It is quite easy to add an animal to stranded 2, the main problem, and the only problem that keeps many Molders, from doing so is the Animation... First, you have to Model the animal, which is tough already. Then you have to texture the animal (add color) which is hard as well. THEN you have to animate the animal. Which requires much experience and patience, in a total, your talking around 2 hours of making a good model, another hour of making the texture, and then 5 hours of animating it, and then a final 30 min of installing it into the game and debugging it.

If you want new animals, I would suggest downloading the stranded 2 ext (german only *sigh) There you will find several new animals... but remember, you must ask permission to use these animals before uploading them in any other manner. But as far as creating Mods that you can play yourself, feel as free as you would like.

LOLZ double post

Well it would take more than that because first you would find a good moddeling tool then you would require to read tuts and when you got your unit model completed you would require to make it b3d and then animate it or the game will show errors

It also depends on which tool you have experience in
Like if you know milkshape then you need not to go any further as it supports B3D
If you know anim8or then you are doomed for units as it doesnt support b3D
but if you know Blender then good gracious you can use anything
and with 3rd party plugins blender supports b3d so you got
all you need

I know a little bit of blender. i would have to look at a tut just to remeber a few things.. and i have used wings 3d.. but to tell you the truth if it came down to it i would sooner rather do textures
