If yur playing tf2 mod cs2d then u notice that the guns are renamed here are some weapons renamed.SMG(P90)Rifle(Scout)Scattergun(Xm1014)Shotgun(M3)Thats the renamed weapons.

customkill but you can't rename the weapons elsewhere without hacking/changing the binary which is nonsense and actually not permitted. This is against the terms of use of CS2D (readme.txt)

Because the tf2D mod is a mod of a very old cs2d version, back then the sourcecode was open.
mat5b's one was made for 0.1.1.7 what is closed source. So I can't release my mod because of the rules?

but it's possible to rename the weapon names in the "killing-hud" in the right up corner.
@Fapicon: it is because you are a n00b. I am trying to write it down to you. If you are making a program and it have one more "square" what you added (at the thing you use for editing), it will not run(I saw this this at closed-source programs). Also, you have to write a 'nothing' to every square after a letter. Example: the word 'Forum' have to be 46 00 6F 00 72 00 75 00 6D and not 46 6F 72 75 6D
you might damage the game this way I strongly disadvise to "hack" the exe file you would have to repeat this for each new cs2d release. it's rather pointless. some cheat detections might think that your modified exe is a cheat clientbetter don't do it. CS2D is not made for this.
