Have you ever played some Grand Theft Auto games? Yes? Well, I made this thread to know what you all think about them and what's your favourite one.

The games I own are (by order of their release) and which platform I play them on:
• Grand Theft Auto - Rockstar Classics Free Edition (PC)
• Grand Theft Auto 2 - Rockstar Classics Free Edition (PC)
• Grand Theft Auto III (PS2)
• Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (PS2)
∗ Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2 & PC - I play on PS2 to do missions and play alone, on PC because I have SA-MP and I like to play it online)
• Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (PS2)

I have some friends of play GTA 4 and seen lots of videos and screenshots about it. But I still think GTA: SA (my fav. GTA) pwns it. Old school (almost) always pwn.

So please, vote!

GTA2 was the best one, I think. The second best was GTA:SA (of course because of SA:MP)

All the GTA 3 era series, except Vice City Stories and Liberty City Stories. Those are horrible, especialy Vice City Stories

Also you forgot about GTA IV: The Lost&Damned and GTA IV: The Balad of Gay Tony

These are just expansion packs ofr GTA 4.
Same as London 1961 and London 1969 are for GTA 1

GTA3 was a big step forward, and if I could re-claim my old CD I would still play it. Next would be GTA2, so fkin awesome, I loved running around setting cars on fire, riding over gangsters and then top it all off by extinguishing the fire by going through a paint-shop. Lolz.

Well i live GTA III and GTA episodes from liberty city because there is a towns with the railways on the roads and a stairs to the house. Thats cool

GTA 2,GTA SA and GTA 4 are my favourites.Cant wait for GTA 5.Hope it will be a mix of GTA SA and GTA 4.Would be epic.

I choose GTA San Andreas, becouse:
GTA 1, 2 boring. GTA 3/Vice City Not bad, but low opportunities. GTA 4 requires more resources from your computer. GTA San Andreas the best! Nice graphics, nice story, nice physics, many opportunities.

I heard some info that GTA V is not going to be connected with GTA IV series at all. Its going to be a whole new story. Dan Houser said that they are currently thinking on where all the action will be set (probably in Vice City, I think...) and who's going to be the main protagonist.

Anyway, I think its not going to be released in the near future, Im not even going to wait for it. Btw, I`m currently waiting for Duke Nukem Forever (2 months and a half left!)

I love the more developed GTA games in the series. I'm talking about the ones with good storylines, such as GTA: San Andreas. That game proves to me that Carl Johnson is really a kind man who really wants a nice life and to someday get out of the criminal world. But his family is forced to do criminal acts in order to reach the good things in life. Like growing a business, having a RC shop, and so on. There is tons of other features inside the game aswell which is quite enjoyable. The ghetto though, is not a nice place.

But that's how the game was supposed to be like, depicting the reality of a ghetto and the issues of ghetto life. That's why I like it, it tells so much, none the less it's full of humour aswell so that's perhaps why it's interesting. At least that's what I think.

I'd go with Episodes from liberty city.
That thing is a major improvement over the original game.
Checkpoints, entertaining missions, euphoria and alot more.
If your PC can run them but you still are choosing something else then something is wrong with you.
