How could you buy G-Mod without knowing what is a video-card?
You need one to run it, and obviously you need to inform yourself about if your cmputer will run it, it's not just buying crysis 2 and trying to run it on a 1992 computer - -''
i have cs 1.6 and its running good, whats the problem in gmod
Garry's Mod works with the source engine, and it's way laggy (for most people) and with very higher graphics than 1.6 could imagine, with more possibilities than 1.6 could imagine... i think that answers you question.
But blue screens are normally due to overheat/not-updated video-cards, try cleaning up your cooler or waiting to your PC cool-down and it may work, i can only help with that...
