The AK-47 was 1st "produced" in 1947 so its more than 60 years old for starters. There were multiple prototypes of it going as far back as late WW2 and not its no a copy of the German STG-44 as its was in fact based off of the Russian 1943-44 AS-44 Sudaev designed by Alexander Sudaev who also designed the PPS-43 sub machine gun. The gun was never produced since Sudaev died during the war however it did inspire Kalashnikov among others with his rifles outer appearance.

Also its a very accurate firearm. I can easily hit targets at 800 meters with My Polish AKS-47 as well as with my 2 Romanian AKMs >>
To top all that its extremely reliable and low maintenance unlike the M4 which jams like a mother fucker unless constantly cleaned.
And as always its does more damage since its firing a big 7.62x39mm round and its lethality is doubled when using hollow point dum dum AP ammo which is literally capable of ripping a grown man in half hence the reason its been banned by most nations and human rights groups.
Over all the AK is the better and cheaper combat assault rifle when compared to the AR-15/16 and M4/M16 series of weapons. You don't see any other nation in the world using any American weapons as their standard issue combat rifle/carbine for a reason >>
I choose AK cuz it`s cost 2300$. And M4 need 3100$. And these gun got same parametres

But statement about damage direction was true, you cant see damage direction if you get hit with silenced m4. This is useless for more experienced players though
(same reason for saying ak does more damage than m4) Since I like M4A1 Silenced Mode I Prefer M4

Unless if when you put the silencer on, it decreases the accuracy. Which it probably does ( well in real life i guess it does... [ In Black Ops it does lol] )
