The problem is it takes a lot longer to watch it all in one video, it would be way quicker to watch it in videos split up into 10 minutes or something.

Dude. you can download almost every video in the internet with RealPlayer. Try it.
When searching for videos look for lower quality ones.. Try viewing it from different websites, that way you get some idea of which is faster and all.. ex: some torrent sites have avi format videos, when you click "watch it online" Its a lot faster than other websites which offer stuff in HD
if it lags , let it play in a background tab for some time, then play it from the beginning.. (I let it play for 20 minute )

When you downloaded and installed it, a little window pops up when you watching a video. in the right-top corner. Press it to download. RealPlayer Downloader opens & downloads after you click. And it works on all of browsers.
I'm using Google Chrome and it works good. Firefox too.
