Apache uwu: Errr... that's actually exactly what already happens (jn=jump new). Of course this only works if the thread actually contains new posts. 
You are using a super fucked up browser which is not able to work properly with primtive named anchors because that's what I'm using. Or you just think that it's wrong because the footer size changed. It jumps to the latest new post. It's normal that there is no space (no old post) displayed above that post because, well, it jumps to the latest new post and not to anything above it. Of course it scrolls down more because of the footer but it still jumps to the latest post.Whatever it is: There's nothing wrong with the website. The footer size doesn't influence the behavior of the named anchors I'm using. That wouldn't make any sense at all. It works fine here.

I've really just made it more comfortable for myself by blocking the footer image.
You can also disable tooltips. Automatically disables the footer as well.
I'll change the footer soon and put stuff in it so it makes more sense to have it there.

DC: It'll be more useful if you move that unreal software logo on the end of the webpeage to the grey border on the left side DC: Dude, left side is empty,useless and have a big space when you scrolled down. Place the up arrow there (maybe then also with a button to switch back ad forth between the threads being sorted by language, section and subsection OR the threads being sorted by the time the new posts where posted, like on the portal page again.)
Obviously Exactly Myself: Sorry I don't understand, do you mean to say that it will show your first file on your profile tooltip? I don't think that this is necessary. Just upload the image you want to see in the tooltip as first screenshot. That's it.
