How can I change the map tile after making the map ?
I'm not just trying to change the name of the tiles , I want to change the tile pic from (EXMP.png) To (EXMP.bmp).
I tryed by editing the map file. I found the line of the tiles I changed it. But When I tryed to open the map a message came in the console it says that the file that I entered in the map file dosen't exist in gfx/tiles.

you want to change from png to bmp? why?!

1. load the png file with graphics software of your choice
2. save the copy as bmp so you have both png and bmp versions
3. load the map in the cs2d editor (it should now work without crash)
4. click the little wrench icon in the editor (map settings)
5. choose the the tileset file with the bmp name
6. click okay
7. you can now delete the png copy of the tileset

Attention! Don't just rename it:
I hope you are not just renaming it but actually saving it in the other format. You can't change the format from bmp to png by just renaming a file.

Attention: Don't resize the tileset
... it will lead to problems. Especially when you make it smaller or too large.

user DC: It works , but the floors positions changed. So all the map is fucked up with random floors.
There's not a trick to keep my old tiles's floors positions ?

You really f*cked up the map file then when you edited it with another tool than the original map editor. It might be possible to fix this but nobody can tell you what exactly you have to do because we don't know what exactly you did. It might already fix it to insert/remove some bytes at the right position but it is also possible that everything is f*cked up and that you can't fix it at all.
