Well have a basic VPS. I need to know how to use less memory on the dedicated, although I have only 500MB and I'm porting FREE with little memory and so bad. Now I'm no expert about this but I'm pretty sure the memory used depends on how the program you're running works. There's some tools to save memory but I can't explain how they work and/or if they can help you in this case. RAM or storage ? 500MB is kinda enought for CS2D (both RAM and storage) in my opinion. 2CS2D Servers + a light webserver. You dont need a monster machine for such a game what os you run, i prefer debian 7 32 bit

SaZ Dice: Actually debian is kinda heavy (not at all but still), it comes with tons of packages that you problably don't and wont use. I prefer ubuntu server 12.04 or 12.10 it is good on a 128mb ram vps to host 2 servers -.- If you don't host scripts with a memory leak you'll be fine with 500mb RAM.
