You have to unzip .rar files with a program called WinRar, google it.

It's expensive but there is a free trial version that you supposedly can only use for a month but the 30 day trigger seems to be broken as you can use it indefinitely.

Once you install Winrar and unzip the file there should be a readme if the creator isn't a lazy sod...

most important things about distributing mods:

• you are NOT allowed to sell Stranded II mods without my permission (because the original game has my copyright)

• you are allowed to offer it for free (as download, cd or whatever)

• you have to state clearly that it is a Stranded II modification and not a "stand alone"-game which has been developed completely by yourself! in order to assure this you should refer to Stranded II wherever you offer your mod. Moreover please state it in the credits and in readme-files and include links to unrealsoftware.de!

not corn.. he meant grain...
destroy some grain plants (wheat..) and take them in your hand and use the ground.
bow net you need a 100 fishing skill i think

also,DC and the mods:
1.could you answer me at scripting questions (about vars)
2.does anyone work on multiplayer?i want to do like build a giant hut and get all my friends in.at least get the work on others if you busy.i dont care,i can even allow it to be 100 mb,just will be multiplayer.
please solve at least issue one...
cannot wait for.

dont eat me alive if i get this wrong. this is my first post in... well ever actully. but my question is. how do i build my tree house? i tried putting it on my tree but well it was still red. im thinking i need to build a tree house to move on to better buildings but how do i build one? help will be appreciated

you mean a high (can you say tall with trees? i don't think so) one. You don't need ones with a big diameter, a very high palm tree works best
