i also had this problem, but in another game, so it's not an error of Stranded, it's an error of Windows. Try to go to Microsoft website and search for a download of Microsoft C++ Visual Library.

i think you shouldn't ask DC, you should ask valve, because the sounds are made by them^^
okay... they are probably not going to answer and the sounds of cs are used everywhere anyway. so you will probably not get into trouble if you just use these sounds...
