The description file wasn't saved as a .s2s so it doesn't show anything when you use it.

What do I have to do to unhide the spoilers so I can read them?
I tried the cheat: ^ enter
$ gotparrot = 1; enter
Nothing happened. What am I doing wrong?

well, this is more of a scripting question
anyway, this just occurs in the editor, the second model is exactly at point 0,0,0. In the game everything is correct, so this shouldn't be that bad.

first of all, you should set the variable back to 0, otherwise you'll get into some trouble with the pirate.
afterwards, go back to the crate and open the window with the arrows again. It is supposed that there are only 2 arrows clickable, you have to find the right code. When you click them in the correct order, something happens.

It still is like that in Single Island and in an adventure map.
can you give us a screenshot of that? (without couting away the interface)

lockpicking is one of the most common things in computergames, how about just DOING what you just asked me?
And you can stop searching for bananas, in island 1 there are no bananas.
Although I sent the above as a message I did not intend to. I intended to post it here and Ill apologize for that and admit my mistake. I must have accidentally clicked the wrong icon when I responded. If that's the reason for the demeaning response perhaps its somewhat understandable. But I read through the entire newbie thread looking for answers, and Ive noticed that the responses are often rude. It makes no sense to be angry at someone for asking questions. If thats the case then this thread shouldnt even be here. The forums should only be for advanced players.
Anyway, thank you for clearing up the banana issue.
Now Im asking anyone who cares to lend assistance. Am I to assume that every time I try a combination I need to close the window? Can anyone tell me if upon discovering the correct combination and closing the window the crate will be open or if the lock pick must be used, as in left clicking the mouse while the cursor is on the crate or pressing E while the cursor is on the crate? If the latter, does one press the left mouse button or press E?
Also, can anyone tell me how to "mark" the spoilers in the forum so I can read them?

mark the spoilers with clicking with your mouse at one end of the spoiler, and let the button1 clicked and sway the mouse to the other end... it works like marking anything in any text

You'll just have to wait until DC has fixed this, since this can't be fixed just by editing definitions.
