INFO
An advanced, fully customizable Lua engine that adds real-time cloud and sky dynamics to CS2D. From light scattered clouds to dense overcast skies and thunderous storms, it delivers rich atmospheric depth, full day/night cycle integration, and submode variations.

🌩️ Cloud Modes
• Clear: Full visibility with clear skies.
• Wind: Light, fast-moving scattered clouds.
• Cloudy: Dense clouds spawning in singles, clusters, and fronts.
• Fog: Low-altitude fog tracking active player positions and viewports.
• Storm: Dark skies, rapid wind gusts, lightning strikes, thunder, and ball lightning.

⚙️ Features & Mechanics
• Seamless Fading & Merging: Cloud types transition smoothly with crossfading opacity, and nearby clouds can merge/absorb each other to grow in size.
• Wind System & Gusts: Wind continuously changes direction via drift mechanics and boosts speed dynamically during intervals.
• Storm Effects & Lightning: Spawns multi-branch cloud/ground lightning, delayed positional thunder sounds, impact flashes, and rare ball lightning.
• Day/Night Cycle & Stretching: Clouds, tints, and ground shadows automatically adapt to sv_daylighttime with dynamic shadow stretching and rotation.
• Player Visibility & Rooms: Clouds and fog fade out near player viewports, and interact with map restrictions/Env_Rooms.
• Map Pools & SubModes: Supports map-specific cloud configurations and diverse atmospheric submodes (e.g., BLOOD, TOXIC, SWAMP, ASH, SAND, SNOW, BLIZZ, GOLD, PURPLE).

🎛️ Full Customization
Everything is easily tuned via a clean setup block at the top of the script:
• Switches & Assets: Global render toggles, map pools, custom sprite paths (clouds, ball lightning, flare), and thunder sound effects.
• Flow & Timers: Switch logic (LINEAR, SHUFFLE, RANDOM), auto mode change intervals, and crossfade durations.
• Spawning & Limits: Min/max active cloud/fog limits, map margins, and spawn probabilities for singles, clusters, and fronts.
• Atmosphere & Lighting: Wind ranges, gust intervals, storm cloud hues, lightning burst limits, and frequencies.
• F2 Menu: Toggleable in-game ServerAction menu for testing modes, submodes, and daylight time.

I dont know if it might work but I suggest You to use
imageshadow(img, height)
and scale them randomly or whatsoever, this way Your CLOUDS will not overlay ENV_ROOM. As You may see on Your 4-rd screenshot cloud shadow is inside the room while is not supposed to be there. I remember like ten years ago I wanted to create something like this thus I like Your effort in working with code and actual release.
/after the conversation with Lima we found out that sv_daylighttime is doesn't affect imageshadow to make it look realistic by sun angle and etc.

Clouds look like if they were 10m above you lol, just an advise: It'd look 100 times better if you make them invisible and only use the cloud shadows hehe

Nice. A boolean setting to render only shadows would also be useful.
