Rcon Tool 2
12 comments I decided to upload my second version of the Rcon Tool.
-Supports multiline commands, such as "maps" or "listplayers"
-Supports colour
-Now has more error messages when for example server is offline or rcon password isn't correct.
-The textbox part can now scroll.
known bugs:
when cs2d sends a colour message, it starts with a "?" with string representation, so it will see every sentence starting with a "?" as a colour command.

FYI, upon further investigation, it appears that the minimum required version of .Net Framework that needs to be installed is version 2.0.50727 to run the RCon Tool.

What's so bad about the GUI? I mean, as far as simplistic sake, what all do you really need? Simply a text-entry box, and a results box, no? After all, that's about all there is to the RCon-control portion within the actual game itself.
To me, that's the attraction... it's simple (and it's about the only other alternative to RCon control (without actually starting the game itself), without installing that other web-based one on a PHP server)

Unless one is infected with some sort of nasty malware or virus, there wouldn't be any problems. That same malware and/or virus wouldn't affect just this one (non-essential) application, but many other (important) things on one's PC.
I don't like it. To simple & horrible GUI. And it's to risky to send your RCON password to server not encrypted. Also it requires .NET Framework so it's even worster.

Extremely handy
Although, I wish that it had some sort of 'command history' (akin to a DOS prompt).
Also, it requires Microsoft .Net Framework installed (I'm not sure which version though), but a lot of folks already have that installed already.

This is a .Net Application.
It means you have to install .net framework on Microsoft to use it.
Dude, don't know how to use, shut up.
BTW, AWESOME! 5 STARS!!!
