Hi all !     
I have one problem. When i click find servers or what, i saw more than 100 servers ... but when i saw more and more and more servers my cs2d lag and i cant click on server. Then i must close the window and quit the cs2d. Please help cs2d is my favor game.

thx when you say install new i mean that i must reinstall version 0.1.1.8

EDIT : When i reinstall it, it still lag ... pls help

Is reachable: Yes & same version
Has password: Disabled
Has players: Yes, at least 1
Is full: No

i chagne the filters but still lag .. pls more help

you can try the following:
> options
> more
> scroll down and find "menu_svreqdelay"
> click it
> enter 30 in the textfield
> apply
> okay

the serverlist might load slightly faster now. that's all you can do about it.

also make sure that you or other people sharing the same connection are not using any programs which download/upload stuff.

or do you have other problems? does the menu lag (low fps)?

I think he means the second thing (More servers on server-list = Lower FPS)
I don't know the real solution, but freeing up disk space, de-fragmenting the drive and having more RAM should do the job.

What teh hell its function what you say i do it and its not lag DC your my mega fan thx a lot

it happens on my comp too, when all servers are being shown the game slows down, lags. Just wait a bit more and it will unfreeze.

@FlooD/Sharkey: this can also be caused by firewalls. the "problem" with the serverlist is, that your PC has to establish many UDP connections. this can be a problem especially on slow PCs or PCs with a slow firewall/router.

this is also the reason for the higher default menu_svreqdelay setting. lowering it might make things faster on some systems but might also lead to problems on other systems.

other than that it is also possible that your PC just doesn't manage to render/sort all the servers (slow cpu/video card). text rendering seems to be very slow on some systems.

My PC is kinda crap but when i change menu_svrgdelay its not lag ... today its lag again. I dont know what is happen with my PC or CS2D.

i've just remembered to install latest graphics drivers and direct x on my new pc, it completely fixed lag on serverlist load
