Can someone please help me? When i try to do net game, the game won't find any servers, but when i copy and paste an ip address from the usgn server list, i can connect to the game. I saw on other posts people mentioning downloading 'other usgn's' can someone post a link to those? Thanks in adance for your help.

Maybe your version is outdated, download the cs2d_0101 at www.cs2d.com!
The USGN use port TCP 80, try to add this in your firewall, or disable it...

I have the latest version, and i added the port to my firewall exceptions, but it didn't work, thanks anyway

hmm... it can connect to cs2d.com but it fails to load the serverlist... thats strange.
did you press "update" in the "net game"-menu? You should do so several times. Maybe it will work.

Otherwise I don't know whats wrong.
Maybe I should write a little test application to investigate this problem beacuse there are apparently more people with this problem.

I did try hitting update once or twice, but not a lot of times, i'll try that.

Please download, extract and run this:
www.cs2d.com/cs2dwebtest.zip

It contains 4 little tests.
every test beside the first one should return a list of cs2d server ips/ports

It would be nice if everyone who has problems with the usgn could post the content of the log.txt (which is created by the program) in this thread or mail it to - Email address (only visible with login) -

Thanks. Based on the results I created a modified CounterStrike2D.exe

www.cs2d.com/cs2dserverlistfix.zip

Please download it and put it into your cs2d dir. Afterwards start it and click at net game. The server list -should- appear now.
Please report whether it worked or not.
