I am obsessed with British TV series such as Dr. Who. I hope I'm not the only one here that watches it!

Conscience: I got used to watching those. There aren't many British sitcoms that I like and that is most likely the only genre I watch. shawn of the dead is a good example of a humorous british film
Original British Top Gear is WAY better, the brits have that dark humour that cause my sides to explode of laughing too hard, even the funniest fat Americans don't do a portion of that to me.
Same for other series 'murricans decided to copy, such as The Inbetweeners. Wtf?! I laughed extremely loud with the UK version, and decided to watch USA episodes but no, just no. They try too hard to be funny, while Brits just open their mouth and dat accent does it.

Most of Game of Thrones was filmed in Northern Ireland. And not to mention that most of the Fantasy settings are usually based of European Medieval history/Middle Ages.

The problem with this is that British humour and America humour do not go well together.
Another comedy series, Shameless, also fell under the same format. The reason that it is funny in the UK is because of the atrocious welfare system we have and the subculture that it follows under. The US version tries to create the same formula but (shamelessly) it doesn't live up to expectations.
I agree that the british act better, and they don't need nudity or sex to make their movies famous.
Americans are better when it comes to comedy movies thou.

In season 2 I discovered that Rick (the main character) is actually British IRL, because I saw an interview and he was speaking naturally British, went to Wikipedia and that confirmed it. It's really cool that he can switch between dat British accent and the semi-cowboy 'murrican one.
I guess it's a coincidence that my favourite American series has a British main character.

The Brits and the Yanks have been doing this for ages. Just look at Stanley Kubrick and Alfred Hitchcock. We practically borrowed one another.
