Why are some or majority of tiles red color only in a tileset ?

Are they just free spaces supposed to be nothing or did I not set up something right ?

The cs2d's standard one is a blank, it show you the max amout of tiles you can fill with. They are red and dark red coloured as a grid to easily recognize where 32x32 ends to draw the tile correctly w/o bad offsets. That's how i getting these.
But editing these and save in this standard tileset is not recommended because only you would see it edited.
