i'm on windows 7 not a fast pc but decent my drivers are up to date and yet for some reason the game won't work launching the game launched a small window then closed down i clicked muiltple times and something happened it opened a window and it was fullscreen then i got an error saying "couldn't load graphics settings" then i ran the game windowed same tiny window closing problem clicked it muiltple times and the game worked but its not done there once it finished loading it was suuper laggy and i haven't even pressed anything yet so i move my mouse to options menu then when i clicked THE GAME CLOSED BY ITSELF ITS NOT THAT JUST ONE MENU ITS THE WHOLE GAME EVEN JUST PUTTING YOUR CURSOR IN THE WINDOW EVEN THO IT HASN'T COMPLETED LOADING CLOSES THE GAME NOT EVEN A CRASH ITS JUST GONE DISAPPEARED AND THE GAME ISN'T EVEN ON MY TASKBAR OT IN TASK MANAGER AND I HAVEN'T EVEN GOTTEN PASSED THE MAIN MENU, pls fix.

my specs are:
os: win7 service pack 1
processor:AMD E-450 APU with radeon
ram: 4gigs

edit: the directplay didn't work

make sure you don't have a counterfeit graphics card or processor off of ebay. Those will definitely cause problems.

Unfortunately Stranded (II) is using a very old version of DirectX (7) which leads to a lot of compatibility issues.

• Make sure your video card drivers are up to date
• Try running the game in windowed mode (there is a bat file for that in the game folder)
• Try compatibility modes (by right clicking the EXE file)
