CS2D 1.0.1.2 is now online on Steam and as standalone version!
This is just a minor update without new gameplay features.

I decided to drop the MacOS support because it means too much trouble to maintain that without having a real MacOS device. Moreover MacOS is now 64 bit only and I would have to try a few things to get that working with CS2D which is still 32 bit.

In general major updates which mean much work are not planned for CS2D.

okay @user DC: uploaded a hotfix for all versions (client/server win/linux steam/nonsteam). Might work after loading that. At least you shouldn't get that same error anymore.

i installed manually, and got errors. when opening cs2d, it still says i am not updated.
An error occurred when replacing file:
error 5 or something.
Cs2d has some trouble with windows 10.
one problem is that it freezes and i can't see it with control alt delete. I can't alt enter cs2d either or alt tab to go to windows.

Try to disable Windows Defender while installing.

What do you wanna expect? Probably not even in 2024 this blitzmax game be updated again. At least you should be thankful now most of the hack tools don't work for CS2D anymore so less cheaters.

@user DC: By the way, these minor updates don't really worth it as the server hosters should renew their servers in order to make em online again. Some of em either update their servers too late or never update em again.

@user The Dark Shadow: The real reason for this update was to make the current cheat gen not work anymore. Hoping that cheat kids don't create/share new cheats. For that to work I had to raise the version so people have to use new clients. Otherwise I would have released that as an optional patch.
