What's the "is decoration" option in the sprites for?

Afair this used to render images, maybe when a player is too far from the sprite it will be rendered and when u get closed it loaded. I don't know a shit about optimization but I think it added to reach performance issues.

There is an option in the 'Options' menu, under 'More,' called 'Render Decoration' or something similar. If you set it to 0, it won't display those images. Same for 'Render Decals'.
Yeah, it's also documented in

Basically you turn this on for sprites that you feel isn't important to render on a really low-spec system.

basically this has no use in a map of a true chad
of course all of my sprites are important, how do you know?
