I'll do the fog of war blocking thing that user cortz said because it really makes a lot of sense (this automatically includes the idea of user J4x because you won't see any player while standing in a smoke grenade with FoW enabled since the fog blocks the FoW calculation rays instantly)

Something interesting would be to add an option to servers properties where you can choose some of the special weapons that are only spawnable via commands or item tiles and things like that, to be put into the shop, like say a satchel charge perhaps, there could be an option in the server props to make it buyable, you could make a special menu inside the buy menu for the special weapons themself if they are enabled. Oh and also add an option to change the weapon prices in the buy menu if the server hoster wanted too.

*Rushers can be stopped easily even without AWP*

*More campers*
*M3/AK/M4 Rushers has a low chance to survive while rushing which make it hard for Camping AWPers to be killed*

I disagree with the Smoke Grenade suggestion, why? Campers will place the sgren into a straight place then just shoot AWP (or anything) to the one who rushed, which makes it easy to win. Campers will just take advantage from this. Even the Campers themselves will take disadvantages, because from what I experience when I'm playing, some AWPers will camp on a smoke then shoot if they saw someone walked to the spot the are sniping through.
Anyways this is from my experience.
So what do you think about it?

New functionality and improved map editor would be nice to have.

About the new functionality, I ment that if it'd be possible to add a map preview that would enable a map creator to directly check if entities are linked the right way and so forth. This would be a definite improvement to the time when making maps.

About improvements to the map editor. It seems the current map editor is a bit less verbose. It'd be great if there was a manual on how entities work and stuff, because I tend to forget how to use certain entities or lack to understand some of them because they have no proper documenation at all basically. I'd need some detailed documentation on certain entities, I hope that's fine for a idea. Well I stand for this idea. Does any one else like this idea?

It was like a force field, only specific players could walk through. You can already do something similar [except it blocks all players] just by making the tile image for the dynamic wall transparent.

Would it be possible to add a replay function in Counter Strike 2D?

edit: Imagine streaming a match and seeing someone making a multi kill in other side of the map, now you could replay and see what happened - like in real basketball


Idea 2:
I think the disorder in server list might be a problem for new players because there are so many servers, but only a few are playable. There could be a separate section for the few most stable servers or even official servers so it's easy to gather. But yeah it costs money

Few ideas:
1. Flashing your screen when staying in smoke (possible with lua but should be added to standart game)
2. Allow players to type in "Rotation" in editor numbers instead this awful game when you trying to rotate circle. For example you need 148 degrees: *slowly* 145..146..147..150! FFFUUU!!!
3. "Move player" function for TileFX in editor.
4. Slowdown fuction to editor.
5. More customable things (I know it`s banned, I`m apologize but CS2d should got 6-7 slot for "special" weapons)
6. Also I`m suggesting to add tool, that can make demos of cs2d games.

Yes, but they moving with 1 FPS and it`s difficult to release. True moving sprites (objects) would be much better, then old one. This possbile in CS 1.6 and CS:S map editor, then why it can`t be possbile in 2d one? Huh? I wish DC answer at this post.
